    What Is A Separation Agreement?

    A Mutual Agreement

This is an agreement that you and your spouse will live separate and apart from each other into the future.

It can also deal with the arrangements in respect of the children.

It also deals with the financial aspects of the separation.

It can also make provision for the arrangements that should be put in place in the future with regard to a divorce.

A Separation Agreement is not binding upon yourself and your spouse. Either one of you can seek to get out of that agreement by making a new application back to the Court. It is then down to the Court to decide whether or not you should remain bound by that agreement.
