How Do I Get A Divorce?

    Five Factors

A divorce is a Court Order which dissolves a marriage. In order to get a divorce, you need to show that the marriage has irretrievably broken down. There are five ways of proving that:

    1. Unreasonable behaviour.
    2. Adultery.
    3. Two years’ separation between the spouses by agreement.
    4. Desertion of one party by the other spouse for two years or more.
    5. Five years’ separation without the agreement of the other spouse.
