Philippa qualified as a solicitor in 1992 in Sheffield. After five years she became a partner. She has undertaken all aspects of Family Law. She has successfully represented divorcing spouses, separating cohabitees, and grandparents in children matters. Notably, she has presented cases involving complex financial disputes and advised world class sportsmen. She has prepared prenuptial agreements and separation agreements. She has represented parents and grandparents in children matters, some of which have been particularly complex. Philippa’s achievements have been reported in the national press and on the evening news. She is a Resolution accredited specialist in complex financial and property matters and children law disputes between parents or relatives.
Previously Legal Advisor to Relate she was also a committee member of SMACHA (Single Mother and Children Housing Association).
Philippa took some time out of practice to work at Nottingham Law School. She has taught undergraduates and on the Postgraduate LPC and BPTC courses. She continues to lecture on the Postgraduate Legal Practice Course. She is also a Mentor to the students at Nottingham Law School’s Legal Advice Clinic. Philippa joined the firm in September 2014.
